On Thursday, February 8, 2567, Professor of Practice Charin Techapun Ph.D., Vice President representing the President of Chiang Mai University, presided over the opening ceremony of the 7th International Conference on Food and Applied Bioscience 2024: Food and Biotechnology for a sustainable and Bio-Circular-Green Economy. This conference was organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the College of Marine Studies and Management, Chiang Mai University; Food Science and Technology Association of Thailand (FoSTAT); Korea University; Yamagata University; Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology; Agro-Industry Academic Council Association (AIAC); Nong Lam University; Yonsei University; GuangZhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Universitas Brawijaya during February 8-9, 2567, at Kantary Hills, Chiang Mai. The conference aimed to disseminate academic knowledge and agricultural industry innovations internationally, fostering knowledge exchange, research experiences, and industrial advancements in agriculture to promote collaboration within the agricultural industry network among academics, researchers, relevant government agencies, and the general public. Approximately 200 people registered for the conference, and there were six keynote speakers from five countries: Poland, China, South Korea, Japan, and Thailand, as well as invited speakers from various countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Spain, and China.
