ด้วย คณะกรรมการรางวัลเกียรติยศรางวัลไทยได้ร่วมกันพิจารณาประวัติผลงานเชิงประจักษ์ของ "ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรชัย ราชตนะพันธุ์ อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีการบรรจุ คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ "เพื่อเข้ารับรางวัลเกียรติยศรางวัลไทย รางวัลการศึกษาดีเด่นแห่งปี ประจำปี ๒๕๖๗ สาขา การวิจัยและพัฒนาดีเด่น ดำเนินการโดยโครงการหนึ่งล้านกล้าความดีตอบแทนคุณแผ่นดิน มูลนิธิเพื่อสังคมไทย" ที่ได้นำความรู้ความสามารถไปปฏิบัติจริง ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการพัฒนาทางการศึกษา มีวิธีปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานอันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการศึกษา อุทิศตนเพื่อประโยชน์ต่อส่วนร่วม มีความเสียสละ ประพฤติปฏิบัติตนอยู่ในกรอบของคุณงามความดีมีคุณธรรมจริยธรรม อีกทั้งมีการตอบแทนคุณแผ่นดินในรูปแบบกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ สมควรได้รับการยกย่องเชิดชูให้เป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีต่อสังคมและสาธารณชนสืบไป
