คณบดีคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มช. ร่วมเป็นพยานพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่กับหน่วยงานไทย-เวียดนาม
วันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2568 มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่จัดพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ บริษัท พีชปาล์มเอเชีย จำกัด บริษัท พีชปาล์มเวียดนาม จำกัด และสถาบันวิทยาศาสตร์ป่าไม้ตอนกลางและตอนใต้ของประเทศเวียดนาม (VIỆN KHOA HỌC LÂM NGHIỆP NAM TRUNG BỘ VÀ TÂY NGUYÊN) ณ ห้องประชุมบัวเรศ คำทอง ชั้น 5 อาคารสำนักงานมหาวิทยาลัย 2
ความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ การศึกษา วิจัย และนวัตกรรมด้านเกษตรกรรม เศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยเน้นการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์จากต้นพีชปาล์ม ซึ่งมีศักยภาพสูงในการเป็นพืชเศรษฐกิจทางเลือก และสามารถนำมาพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์แปรรูปเพื่อสุขภาพ ตลอดจนสามารถใช้ในการฟื้นฟูพื้นที่สีเขียวและสร้างรายได้ให้แก่เกษตรกรในระยะยาว
ในพิธีลงนาม ได้รับเกียรติจากผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธัญญานุภาพ อานันทนะ รองอธิการบดี ผู้แทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ พร้อมด้วยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ยุทธนา พิมลศิริผล คณบดีคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร ร่วมเป็นพยานในการลงนามครั้งนี้ โดยมีผู้บริหารจากบริษัทเอกชน หน่วยงานรัฐ และองค์กรท้องถิ่นเข้าร่วมเป็นเกียรติ
ความร่วมมือนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งโอกาสสำคัญของคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร ในการผลักดันการใช้ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างยั่งยืน พัฒนาเทคโนโลยีการแปรรูป และสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อสังคม สิ่งแวดล้อม และเศรษฐกิจระดับชุมชนและประเทศ
On May 29, 2025, Chiang Mai University hosted a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic collaboration with Peach Palm Asia Co., Ltd., Peach Palm Vietnam Co., Ltd., and the Forest Science Institute of Central Highlands and South of Central Vietnam (FSIH).
This collaboration aims to foster academic, research, and innovation development in the areas of agriculture, economy, society, and the environment, with a special focus on the development of peach palm—a promising economic crop. The initiative also aims to enhance value-added processing of peach palm into health-oriented products, promote sustainable land use, and improve the livelihoods of local farmers.
The ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanyanuparb Anantana, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, representing the President, and witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry. Distinguished guests from the private sector, government agencies, and local organizations also attended the ceremony.
This partnership highlights opportunities for the Faculty of Agro-Industry in promoting sustainable utilization of natural resources, advancing agri-processing technologies, and contributing to positive social, environmental, and economic outcomes at both community and national levels.
