Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University Welcomes Executives from Yoshinoya Holding Co., Ltd., Japan for a Special Lecture on Japanese Working Culture and Internship Interview Session

On 17 November 2025, the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University welcomed executives from Yoshinoya Holding Co., Ltd., Japan, including Mr. Hisashi Nagahiro and Ms. Sutharat Viratpan, on the occasion of their visit to deliver a special lecture and conduct interview sessions for students under the collaborative program between the two institutions.

The delegation was warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Sutee Wangtueai, Ph.D., Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, together with Asst. Prof. Suphat Phongthai, Ph.D., Tabkrich Khumsap, Ph.D.

, Assistant to the Dean, and faculty staff members. The event featured a special lecture titled “Japanese Working Culture and Compliance”, aimed at enhancing undergraduate students’ understanding of Japanese corporate culture and work practices. The session also served as preparation for students interested in participating in exchange and internship programs with leading companies in Japan.

In addition, interview sessions were held for students applying for the Yoshinoya Field Study and Internship in Japan 2025–2026, a collaborative initiative between the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, and Yoshinoya Holding Co., Ltd. Selected students will have the opportunity to travel to Japan for study visits and activities in February 2026.

The event took place from 08:30 to 12:30 hrs. at Meeting Rooms 2 and 4, Office of the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University.
